Inventory Management — Build and Organize Your Pre-Lotted Auction
Do you conduct pre-lotted auctions? If so, AuctionRPM provides even more tools to help you prepare for auction day.
With a pre-lotted auction, much of the work takes place before the auctioneer ever calls for the first bid. Items need to be entered, organized, assigned lot numbers, and prepared so that the information you need is ready when the auction begins. AuctionRPM’s Inventory Management features are designed to help you manage that process.
In this tutorial, you’ll be introduced to the Inventory Management area of AuctionRPM and see how inventory becomes part of the auction you are preparing. By entering and organizing your lots in advance, you can build the structure of your auction before auction day and give AuctionRPM the information it needs to help manage those items throughout the rest of the auction process.
Pre-lotting also creates opportunities to make much greater use of the information associated with each item. Instead of simply recording what sold after the fact, AuctionRPM can begin helping you manage your inventory before the auction even starts.
If your auction company conducts pre-lotted sales, Inventory Management is where AuctionRPM really begins to show just how much it can do for you.
