AuctionRPM is often used in environments where multiple computers need to work together. Your auction office may have one computer handling bidder registration, another entering bids, another processing invoices, and still others performing administrative tasks—all needing access to the AuctionRPM system.

That makes proper network configuration an important part of a multi-computer AuctionRPM installation.

While AuctionRPM Software is not in the business of remotely maintaining or administering your computer network, we do want to make sure that your network administrator or IT professional understands how AuctionRPM needs to be configured.

In this tutorial, you'll learn about the network requirements and configuration necessary for multiple computers to operate AuctionRPM together. The video is intended to provide your network administrator with the information needed to understand how the AuctionRPM workstations communicate and how the system should be set up within your existing network environment.

This can be especially important on auction day, when several employees may be using AuctionRPM simultaneously for different responsibilities. A properly configured network allows those workstations to function together as part of the overall AuctionRPM system.
