AuctionRPM screens are designed for efficiency and ease of input. The buttons are logically arranged to minimize guesswork and maximize productivity. Buttons on the left side of AuctionRPM’s Main Menu represent functional categories such as ‘Auctions’, ‘Accounting’, and ‘Reports’. Think of these buttons as ‘umbrella’ categories, each a grouping of related functions.
Every auction needs bidders, and bidders need to be registered! The Bidder Registration screen allows you to register bidders for the auction and assign them bidder numbers for the current auction. Permanent bidder numbers? No problem! Different tax rates per person? No Problem! Want to keep track of inventory likes/dislikes for each buyer? No Problem! The AuctionRPM bidder registration screen also has the ability to decode the 2D barcode on the back of modern driver's licenses, which means the bidder registration process can be reduced down to only 8 seconds per person!
The inventory master is typically used if you have the type of business where you accept inventory to be sold on consignment and you do not know which auction will be used to sell such items. Inventory entered in this screen is made available in the ‘Add/Edit Lots’ screen wherein it can be assigned to an auction with a lot number. Depending on what you want, as much or as little information on each item can be entered. You can even attach images of each item and use those images later when marketing your auction and printing catalogs!

Many times, the auction company will accept inventory, but not know which auction will contain the items. The Add/Edit Lots screen is designed to allow the auction staff to take inventory that has been accepted into the warehouse, then assign it to a lot numbers in an upcoming auction.
One of the worst parts of the auction process is settling out with consignors after the auction. It's not unusual for auction staff to spend hours upon hours to get it all done! Not with AuctionRPM! Most of our customers can complete all necessary paperwork with the consignors in under 20 minutes. And that includes printing the consignor checks!!!
Not all auctioneers pre-lot the auction. Many just want to tell the computer what has sold at the very moment that it sells. The Non-Lotted Auction Bid Entry screen was build just for that. It allows the sale information to be entered quickly, yet at the same time allows for special situations such as selling choice or combining lots together.
The Pre-Lotted Auction Bid Entry screen is designed to quickly records bids for lots that have been pre-lotted into the current auction. The only thing that needs to be entered is the lot number, the quantity, the winning bid amount and the bidder number. That's it! And if you also accept absentee bids or phone bids, the bid entry clerk can monitor those as well and even act as the proxy bidder for those absentee bids or phone bids!
Entering all this data would be useless without being able to see reports that summarize all your hard work! AuctionRPM has no less than 258 reports that cover EVERY need you might have. Everything from Buyer and Consignor reports, 25 different types of catalogs, Mailing labels for buyers and consignors, and general inventory related reports.
